Christine said 'From your part of the Calendar Region' again! Very Happy

All we need is the videowall, or maybe a special sequence, maybe a bit like the pre-2000 titles where the region shape changed into the YTV 'Y'.

For Katherine's family, Andrew Knight looks to be doing regular Morning bulletins all week

And so he knows we a taking an interest, Calendar's Jonathan Morrell was reporting again tonight. I don't think he's presented a bulletin itself since Xmas Week though, presumably Easter Monday he will again appear?

Another day, another unusual presenting arrangement on Calendar

Peter McNearny made a rare appearance on Calendar Central at 3.10 and 6.05pm tonight, Frazer Maude was back for the late bulletin though

EDIT: It seems there is trouble with the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire bulletin tonight

Halfway through tonight's Late Look North , Ian White apologised to viewers in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire 'Who had now lost their programme'

This must have got Ian White in a state, as at the end, he said '..and thats it, now back to Peter Sissons.Oh its Michael Buerk tonight isn't it...'

Ian shouldn't apologise, I consider loss of the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire version a plus!

I noticed that the news finished earlier last night because of the curling! So regional news was at about 10.23pm - maybe Philpott and/or the production team in Leeds hadn't got back from the pub yet!?! Smile

Probably Philpot still in the pub, if this picture is anything to go by?

(By the way this picture is one of Square Eyes' from one of Katherine's slide shows I think)

Like that idea. Presenting with a CSO from the snug of the George and Dragon is she? Lol!

BTW: Why is the BBC LOOK NORTH at the top on the photo? Shouldn't it be at the bottom of the photo ala Leeds? Probably pi**ed up Philpott and her mate Babs on the camera made a make shift studio there when the opt outs started and is too fu**ed to change the writing!

'Look North Saturday' was presented by Dean Pepall this week

I hope he more animated when he does his 'day job', presenting the Drivetime show on BBC Radio Sheffield, or else listeners will fall asleep at the wheel, but then again, 5 mins doesn't give you much time to do anything really.

Another day, another unusual presenting arrangement on Calendar

Calendar News and Sport was presented by Geoff Druett and Jason McCartney tonight

I don't think I've ever seen Geoff on on a weekend, plus its usually a female presenter, tonight it was 2 MEN, which as we all know is unheard of on TV News programming!

I wonder if he will be on tommorow too (Sat & Sun usually is the same person), and he will have to do Calendar Pick of the Week

Other presenters of Weekend Calendar programmes this month were:
(2nd/3rd) - Vicky Locklin
(9th/10th) - Anne-Marie Tasker
(16th/17th) - Karen Petch

It gets stranger by the week, its getting to the stage that there ISN'T a usual presenter of any slot!

Notice there's a top-smart new advert, 'Look North is officially the best regional news programme in the country'..

Bits of Harry, Christa, Paul Stud Muffin, Peter, Clare doing the Hull news, behind the scenes... lovely jubbly!

Best regional tv station in England of course... as they were the only ones nominated in the awards thingy?

(Crowdie laughs so hard his hat falls off)
Bit of class! Someone slip Wogan the nod, I'd love to see that one on the next Auntie's Bloomers! Brilliant!
Oh, and congrats all on passing the century (whilst I was offline)!
