Well, I for one hope that this thread goes on (in its full form) for a lot longer yet! It makes very good reading!

As to your enquiry Katherine, I'd imagine this thread would certainly be archived away - but I don't think there are any plans to prune/close/delete this thread, but I'm not honestly sure!

I'm sure Asa will let it stay open, for as long as it needs to. Wink

What happens for Look North in Breakfast then when it's Lisa? Is she in London because she is seen in the studio at 6.30pm!

If she is in London she must get the fastest train around (just re-read this and knows this is impossible! Lol!)

When Lisa Gallagher does Look North Breakfast Weather, she does it live from the main Look North studio

When Paul is away and Lisa covers for him, Look North (like most other regions) get a recorded weather forecast from the News 24 Overnight forecaster and just play it out

  ******** We've now reached 100 Pages ********

This thread is actually the second of its type, the first one was created on the TV Home Forum and reached about half a dozen pages.

When the TV Home Forum went off-line the first time, this thread was created on the Temporary Young Journalists Forum, and was transferred across

When the first thread started, Christa was still with Calendar, and names like Anne-Marie Tasker, Clare White and Faye Barker had not yet appeared on screen, neither had Jo Blythe

YTV's Live Lunch had only just started, and programmes like Calendar Pick of the Week and Calendar Lunchtime Live had not yet been thought of

Over on Look North, we were still 'BBC North' and Clare Frisby was running the show in Leeds, The Hull Opt Out and Helen Philpott were future developments

Bring on the next 100 pages..............

The Look North Slide Shows were just a twinkle in my eye, and the Briggate was just another street in another city. The soft area was yet to be born......

Ok, as the thread has now reached 100 pages, I'd just like to say hello to all the Look North & Calendar / YTV staff who actually look in on us from time to time. I know this for a fact as numerous people have messaged / e-mailed me. Some of them have even posted on here !! So don't be shy, say hello to us, as you can see we don't bite.

And since I usually post every 50 pages, here I am again.

Just been reading page one-I'm surprised how many edits there have been! I wonder if all this should be put in a book? 'Calendar-Look North August 2001-present'Very Happy
