Square Eyes, my mother has asked me to give you her thanks. She says he really needs a happy item to read. She wonders why he gets to read the news on really depressing news days. I think all bar one of his stories on ITN News this lunchtime were sad/depressing/bad in nature.
Come on Calendar, give Andrew Knight something HAPPY to read!
No seriously, I don't have a pic of Anne Marie, but I will put it on my to-do list. I keep meaning to capture the Calendar Pick of the Week titles, but I struggle to get up on Sunday mornings.

a) I haven't seen Andrew Knight for ages, when was he on?
b) Calendar PotW is on at 12.30PM:D (I take it a capture of The Super League Show at 11.15am is out of the question then!!!!!!!)
Oh you never know, I might have to set the video. Andrew Knight was actually doing Calendar East today. I captured attached a pic of him further up this thread for Katherine's mum. However you can't see it at the minute because the server is down
Prior to Friday's Calendar Late News and Saturday's Calendar News and Sport, we have been treated to announcerless idents.
The one today went on for quite a while, just a pity that the music was faded down really quiet.

Okay, some information on the Look North Hull sub-opt new presenter Helen Philpot for you. It's been added to the Look North site some time over the last couple of days:
'So what's an Irish, Italian Essex girl with a Wiltshire twang doing up North………? Time seems to have flown by since my first stint on local radio 6 years ago. I got the broadcasting bug whilst at University in Nottingham. A long way from my family home in Swindon! I spent two years juggling studying and presenting on student radio and doing odd jobs at BBC Radio Nottingham before the penny dropped. I thought to myself broadcasting is what I really want to do, I mean you get paid to talk! My first proper job after Uni. was at BBC Radio York where I spent 3 fabulous years. I managed to grab a taste of almost all the different roles on station. England's biggest county had plenty of challenges and there was never a dull day. I even got roped into delivering a cow at a hill farm on Rosedale. The farmer christened her Helen the Heffer.
In the year 2000 I went south to Grimsby and joined the BBC Radio Humberside Breakfast Show. Over the last two years I have been representing Northern Lincolnshire with a passion between 6.30 and 9. It's been great fun and has seen me scale a rollercoaster in February winds, swim 7 miles round the county for a children's Hospice and crack the knack of going to sleep in the afternoon! Apart from all that I have two cats called Terry and June. I love tomato sauce (on everything) and I'm always being told off for making weak tea! I am really excited to be a part of the new look Look North and hope you'll enjoy the new service.'
My first impressions? Well, Helen gains Brownie points from me for liking tomato sauce on everything, having two cats AND working south of the Humber. It'll be interesting to see a non-West Yorkshire-born presenter on Look North. Harry and Christa are both from Bradford, Peter Levy lives in Yeadon and the Studmeister is a Keighley lad. I'm not sure of Clare's origins and I THINK Ian White's from Newcastle, so it's nice to see the balance becoming more even!
Look North, if you ever want someone from way out in the southern sticks of the region, I'm free for an audition any time at all!
The Calendar exodous seems to continue, where is John Shires. Is he no longer the presenter of Soccer Sunday ? Jason McCartney presents Calendar Sport on Saturday and also Soccer Sunday. Or was that just this week ?
