The first time weather presenter Sian Welby's taken a break since the switch to ITN and her replacement is Natalie Verney, a newsreader on Heart FM's 'Four Counties' area based in Milton Keynes.

With Matt Barbet moving to Daybreak, will Emma Crosby be promoted to present the 5 and 6.30 or will Geoff Hill be looking for another presenter?

I hope Emma gets at least the 5pm if she doesn't take them both on. Maybe with Polly taking on main relief or 6:30

Sian Welby has tweeted that Clare Nasir will be covering for her next week on 5 weather.

Clare Nasir is a good weather forecaster, who (I believe) is an actually Meteorologist, but she can do serious forecasts and have a bit of banter, Daybreak should have kept her!

The lunchtime bulletins so far this week have been presented by journalists from ITN Entertainment. Stephanie Prentice on Monday and editor Lisa Snell today.
