How long has Sangeeta Kandola been doing news updates for Channel 5?
First time I think, a new addition to the 5 News freelance pool.
She's obviously doing considerably less on London Tonight now so I guess they are giving her other rolls. What with Alexandra Hill returning for this little while.
5* Access presenter Stephanie Prentice presented the lunchtime bulletin. She tweeted that she was supposed to be screen tested today, but due to a clerical error, she ended up presenting live instead!
He was also one of the launch presenters on the ITN News Channel from August 2000. Around 2002/3 he also did a stint presenting sports news on BBC World.
New set-up for in-studio guests, Emma and a blonde woman talking about Beckham (missed her name, think she's the editor of Elle) sat on high stools in the corner of the studio near the two screens. I didn't really like the stools to be honest, blue and white..
That's interesting - thanks for the capture. I'm guessing those two high chairs/stools are just off to the left/right of the podium (can't be sure, as I'm a bit disorientated by that shot). All that set consists of at the moment is the semi-circular carpeted podium with the lectern on top, sat in a big green box. It really is strange to look at. I take my hat off to the presenters - I think it's even more disorientating than the ITV News set.

From the end of tonight's show, you can see it's off to the left of the podium (you ca just see it behind the cradits).
