I got a normal evening from Norwich and receiving Norwich during the opt out. No major story.

The giveaway is usually with he weather. If the weather presenter wasn't in the studio, for Cambridge, then it was a full split.
Stuart & Susie, saying that Julie didn't appear tonight, Jim presented, although Julie did a different day last week so I didn't think much of it, just assumed she was doing Mondays
Ah it was deffo a full split then as Stuart & Susie never appeared tonight on the west sub opt that I was watching. It would also explain the dodgy opt out of the 6 at 18:15 as we always get a clunky jump when Cambridge do the opt as I assume Cambridge opt back into Norwich who opt back to network all at the same time. Wonder why the program was split for the full half hour then. No significant stories were covered by Cambridge.
I've not understood it on other occasions when there has been a full split. Was there perhaps more detailed coverage of Lutons weekend football result?
Could have been although nothing seemed out of the norm, almost felt like it was thin on the ground for news at the point I had to leave. Maybe they were testing Cambridge to handle a full 30 min double headed program for something in the future?
I don't think Cambridge will run full double headed programmes unless the news agenda on a particular day demands it. I could see them following an Oxford arrangement where Monday/Friday are but this is probably for the benefit of sport and Look East seem to have a good arrangement of adding a sport opt through VT when needed.
Did this evenings BBC Look East come entirely from Cambridge for the west of the region? It appeared to me as if it did. Jonathan & Louise were the presenters which is not a common pairing. Was the region split tonight as Norwich were concentrating on something big happening in the east of the region or was everyone getting the Cambridge program?
