I wonder when Christine & Duncan will finally get to meet up. Will they come together on a Friday do you think ?

There was a report on North West Tonight a few years ago about a man who has taped every edition of Look North West and North West Tonight since 1980 or so. So don't think that you are sad by taping Look North for a few days, in their own opinion they'll think that you are sad, but I assume you are only doing something you like and look on the bright side you've had five emails read out on Look North!

I wonder, bearing in mind the promo said they were 'stepping out' so far one of them has gone out leaving the other behind
This out and about thing can't continue indefinately can it, will it be like when the weather team used to go somewhere on Fridays and show kiddies pictures, they will run out of ideas and stop doing it..!

You know Kat... since you are taping all the Look Norths, you might as well get a TV tuner card and put your fave moments onto your computer.
RE: new look Calendar, has anyone done a clip of the new titles to Calendar? I would like to see them in action.

I'm doing something a bit bigger - I'm on an Internet website construction course at the moment, and I'm planning to create a fan site for Look North!! If it's good enough, I'd love it to get 'official' status!

Geoff has the glamorous job of reading the Calendar South news.
Can't say I'm liking this new "out and about" feel - it never worked on Central and I really don't think it's worth it. Also the programme doesn't really have any headlines - more just a lot of light stories that seem to be creeping into the beginning of the programme and it's left up to the opt outs to actually report anything of worth.
I don't think it'll take long before it goes back a more traditional news format.
Although I'm sure I did spot SE on the beach at Cleethorpes.

A question about the opts- The opt branded as "Calendar News" which part of the region does that cover ?
