I notice the /programmes revolution is really steaming along, with local radio starting to be updated.

I note the change in URL there - previously it would have been http://www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk/programmes. Presumably the intention is create a proper station homepage, which the local stations currently lack, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radionorfolk, however at the moment that URL still redirects to the BBC Norfolk news page.

You can go directly to the new mobile site from your PC - http://m.bbc.co.uk/news

One thing I've noticed recently with the mobile websites is that it doesn't (at least not on my iPhone) redirect you to the mobile version, ie if I go to bbc.co.uk/news I get the desktop version. That's a bit annoying because it's the URL that half of the mobile site links to.

I guess the station home page will be along the lines of http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/stations/radionorfolk, presumably with URL amended (as happened with the Asian Network). Also using 'radionorfolk' presumably emphases it's the radio station and not the (news) region.

Quite possibly, in fact there was a reponse to a comment on the BBC internet blog which stated as much, however since then they appear to have decided to move away from that design since everyone finds it confusing, so who knows? As it is, there is nothing to link the design and layout of that page to the new programme pages.

Someone on Unofficial Mills found a new Radio 1 DJ page.

Presumably a sign of things to come.

I wonder if the current DJs will all move across to the new page style when the new Radio 1 schedule comes in next week.

Sport Relief with the transparent header.

Is that a mock, as I get the black header?

Yep that is a mock to show how the transparent header would work.

The weather website is now rolling out the transparent header -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/17539834

That's the best one I've seen - actually better than the existing one.

When did they add a title attribute to the logo on the new header?
