Well, let's start with the positives. The weather graphics are a huge improvement. Really clear and nice. The studio looks good and will look even better when it's not virtual.
The titles are okay. Not completely sold on the music though. As mentioned the theme music of the last Sky News produced 5 News was good, shame they couldn't keep it.
Overall though, a very modern and clean new look which I like. Now it's just the content- and we can't really judge that until we see the full bulletin at 5.
Looks like Sky weather presenter Nazaneen managed to get a cheeky little reference in regarding the changeover in her final weather forecast for Channel 5:
The studio is nicely designed, but the CSO looks really bad quality, especially the lighting on Matt's face. It looks too harsh, and a heavy outline around Matt as well. It's really bad, and really obvious.

Close-up shot is a bit too close!
Yeah I thought I was watching on C5 HD, the picture does seem to be upscaled a lot though, never used to be that clear before the changeover...
Who provides the weather now? Is it ITN weather? Nothing I could see on end cap.
It is, yep - similar to Channel 4 weather and they are very nice and clear. Sky's graphics are terrible, you can't tell what weather is what! Shame ITV can't use them instead of their stone age weather graphics.
Matt's stumbling over his words a lot though which is unusual for him.
Could be because the camera's are either quite far away (the green screen studio is fairly big), or because the auto-cue uses a different/layout font compared to what he is used to at Sky.
