Anyone record the last show? Missed it earlier!

Bit of a low key finish really. At the top of the 6.30 the camera did pan a bit further than usual to give a brief glimpse of the crew, that was it.

Quite handy how it worked out with the football tomorrow. Technically they could have still had a normal bulletin at 5pm as they don't really need 45 minutes of buildup but it gives them time to prepare for Monday's relaunch.

Oh right!

Definitely new opening titles (assuming there'll be new theme music as well). And the virtual set at ITN will be recreated as the physical set at N&S.

There's definitely new theme music - quite funky it is too. The set will be not altogether that dissimilar from the last set used at Sky - it's a different colour but similar elements are there, like the podium.

Same colour theme as 2008, my favourite 5 News look. Larger studio than before, albeit virtual. Nice, light, airy and clean feel to it. Good first impressions, I'll wait for the titles/music, on-screen before I make my mind up.
