Yes and us women do a much better job than you men...do we always need men to present the news anyway??

That's rather sexist - the BBC uses both male and female presenters and usually uses both when there's two presenters. How are female newsreaders superior to males? Gender has nothing to do with it.

Mmm, have you heard of tongue and cheek DrewF.

Yes, and it's called tongue IN cheek Wink Apologies, thought you were being serious, it's often hard to tell in this place.

Luisa Baldini doesn't seem to take much to Jon Sopel's usual humour on the NC this afternoon, she keeps blanking him and moving onto the next story.

No worries DrewF - and well done for spotting my error, my only excuse was that I was on here too late and I really should have been in bed - lesson learned there!! Humour is down to personal taste and between us and Luisa and Jon it is clear there are differences in all walks of life.

Juliette Foster!!!!!!!!!!! Hurrah! World Business Report.

We also had Maryam Moshiri today as well.

And now, it's Tim on World News Today.

His appearances on World are getting fewer and fewer.

Perhaps Tim is doing less work in order to learn Arabic and Persian so he can broadcast on BBC Arabic and Persian? Very Happy

Adam Parsons presenting on the NC this morning, covering part, or maybe all, of Maxine Mawhinney's shift. Unusual to see him on this early, means he'll also be doing the BBC1 lunchtime junction.

Yes. It's Adam for you guys this morning, whilst we have Martine over here on World. Martine Dennis, that is. Not Mahwhinney.

In the end did Adam cover all of Maxine's shift? Did he present from 10am-4pm?

Chris Rogers on overnights tonight, for once it's not Rachael Hodges - think this is the first time he's done the standard format overnight instead of Newsday?
