I think it's time Alex Bushell got a go at the 630 bulletin, there's a distinct lack of male presenting in London since Mike left. I 've noticed Riz is doing more LONDON duties at 630 since Mike left.as Mike tended to fill in twice a week for her. the other females just don't seem to cut it for me, at leas Alex seems to make it warm and welcoming, the rest just seem to9 read off the autocue and seem very bland.

It'll be interesting to see who'll co-present BBC London's Children in Need coverage this year as Riz and Mike normally did it. Mike would normally go OTT with his pres for one night only.

Oh dear, problems with tonight's bulletin. You couldn't hear the presenter, it sounded like the only microphone picking up sound was at the back of the studio.
I assumed that it was a dead mic at first but you couldn't hear the weather presenter either, so must have been either a problem with the radio mic system or mixing desk. I know the weekend bulletins are done with minimal staff but I'm surprised they couldn't get a half decent backup in place.
