Ur right it was Noel! Sian is doing the main bulletins on BBC1 and I am also getting a bit fed up with Darren and Jane on every weekend (they are good though) what about Mike or Peter presenting occasional weekend bulletins. Peter did the 10:00 news on Sunday a few weeks back.. it would be better if that happens more often! Also does anyone have footage of when Mike did the 10:00 news in march?

Someone who hasent been on bbc 1 for a while is Matthew Amroliwala... he used to do the weekent bulletins quite alot! Ben Brown should also read more often!

Yeah Jane is good not so sure about Darren - he gets on my nerves after a while, lol.

You can get footage of Mike on the 10 on my website at BBC News Centre. Just click on downloads and then scroll down and you should find it under the Ten O'clock News downloads. we've got intro, sign off etc. Smile

Also, it was good when Matthew Amroliwala was on the Weekend bulletins and I think he should do them again and so should Phillip Hayton, although I never saw him when he did it, from 1999-2003 did anyone get any captures?

Also, I thought Nicholas Witchell was good so we can hope to him again soon.

It would be good to see Peter Sissons on the 10 on a Sunday as it would make sense as he could do it after his News 24 shift (like he did earlier in the month) and then it would save Fiona Bruce having to come in to do a 15 minute bulletin.

I think other BBC News 24 presenters and correspondents should also have a go like with the Saturday Lunchtime bulletin to start with and then see what there like.

Also, it would be good to see Natasha Kaplinsky doing one day like Dermot did and also to see Bill Turnbull on his own so we can see what he;s like too. Smile

For one i would like to see Moira on a weekend bulletin and maybe Kate as well. I never saw Phillip Hayton either. Do you have any footage of Mikes leaving speech... I was going to tape it off the telly but I taped C4 by mistake!!! Carrie Gracie (sp?) may do well at weekends too.

Yes we have both Michael and Peter's final sign offs from the Ten O'clock News.

BBC News Centre.

Have a look at the downloads page, we have loads of downloads including most presenters doing bulletins since 1999. Razz Very Happy

I have heared some rumours that Raggeh Omaar may be presenting the midday buletin today or tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is correct? Also Peter presented breakfast with frost this morning.

There are very strong rumours at Telly Centre that Rageh's been offered a million dollar/pound contract with one of the US Networks...

I doubt very much he would take it. Do you know whether it would require him to move from Nairobi to America.

I heard it was £400,000. Although she does do a lot and is good, I think £1,000,000 would be a bit far fetched.
