At 11pmUK Mon-Fri, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America now get a simulcast of CNN/US's The Situation Room, while Asia Pacific, South Asia and North America continue to get World Report
World Report continues airing globally at 11pm Sat and Sun
CNN International is carrying the Monte Carlo Royal Wedding LIVE at the moment. Richard Quest is the sole anchor. Some quite spectacular close-ups of remarkable facial expressions from some of the guests inside the ceremony. I guess many of them forgetting that the whole world is watching.
Anjali Rao has left CNN. This is shocking news to me. Apparently her last broadcast was on Friday, not sure if she had any kind of proper good bye as they always do at CNN.
It all seems sudden and strange. She will be very missed, one of CNN's finest.
Now the midnight hour of news is officially dead. A huge loss to CNN, but I don't blame her... most of their primetime anchors are all style no substance and Anjali should have easily had the Asia primetime all to herself. Let's just hope she pops up in London on the NC - that way it might just be worth watching more often.

Very surprised to hear this. Anjali was a very watchable anchor. Wonder if she's Skybound again, perhaps in the Abu Dhabi base?
Pure speculation, coupled with wishful thinking on my part.
Are Monita Rajpal and Pedro Pinto indeed married to each other? I've read the same here on several occasions but not sure if its indeed the case. There was a link back to World One London from an Atlanta reporter today. The presenters in London were Monita and Pedro. The reporter linked back with a comment about married couples and about "who wears the pants in the marriage". Monita then joked with Pedro about it for quite a few seconds.
Is their "married status" regularly joked about on air? It's the first I've seen that.
One wonders what the latest hacking revelations today will mean for Piers Morgan. was he editor of NOTW at the time? Sarah Paynes mother is reported to be livid that they were hacking her phone whilst she was cooperating with the newspaper during the campaign following her daughers death.
I apologize unreservedly in advance if my timing is all wrong and if Morgan was not at all employed at the time of the event. But the media outlets that I am watching at the moment seem to be suggesting a link of sorts.

They always had sexual chemistry on air so it's no surprise. From what I heard from people working at CNN London they've been in an on and off relationship for years, not sure if they were married during that time. I think they are together at the moment.
As for Morgan, he's been going through hell on Twitter, with Mensch and many bloggers calling him out. He's trying to be bitchy as usual but just looks hopeless...
Jon Snow of C4 News got a bit over excited and ended up tweeting that Piers Morgan had been suspended by CNN. However the news came from a hoax account and so retractions followed.
The danger of 'scoops' on twitter. Doesn't do much for credibility.
