Rights Brekkie .... BBC are severely restricted as Queen's is an ATP event which usually would be wholly covered on Pay platforms.

The ATP events though are sold seperately to home broadcasters, and Queens is only a third tier 250 event - so unlike the Masters 1000 and ATP500 events, it wouldn't find itself on Sky anyway. The BBC have the UK rights.

Eurosport are the main rights holders, they have access to the lot. BBC restricted to main court only.

But do those rights cut off at 5.15pm?

They took a Andy Murray match off BBC 2 / BBC HD last year at 5.15. So maybe it is restricted to 1pm - 5.15pm Confused

Is there a highlights programme anywhere for Queen's? Even on Eurosport?

Eurosport 1 have a highlights show. It started at 7.30 just after live transmission finished (even Rob Curling sounded surprised at how soon the highlights were turning up tonight during the wrap-up)

Thanks, it's certainly not scheduled separately in DigiGuide, though the Sky EPG is a bit more detailed they are still all over the place and sometimes it's a 2 hour slot. It suggests 20:15-22:15 tonight at tomorrow, 22:30-23:30 Wednesday, 20:15-22:15 on BE2 Thursday, 20:15-21:30 Friday, nothing Saturday, and 21:30-22:45 only on Eurosport HD on Sunday.

Eurosport is so annoying!

I've spotted coverage of the AEGON Classic from Edgbaston which I didn't even think was televised. Hoping to go down there one night this week, may make it Friday if there's a chance of being on the telly.

The BBC is the UK rights holder for the Aegon Championships. They are not restricted in any way to what they show. They simply deem it not big enough to show after 5.15, except the odd match. The rest is on the Red Button.

That's a shame really. I think the US could have done with a new broadcaster just to look at doing things differently rather than just continuing with a broadcast model not really fit for the 21st century.

Interesting. How will this actually work then? Will BBC One HD carry 2D HD coverage while BBC HD carries the 3D?
