New format for weather and travel on Breakfast this week with Lou seated next to the newsreader and reading out the travel followed by the weather. Presumably this means Wendy and/or Sara will start doing travel when they're on in the morning!

That's what I've been told. Makes sense when Louise is on duty, but not too sure about the other presenters who normally present weather bulletins to show us the travel cameras and a waste of not using the large screen.

Well that didn't last long! No Wendy or Lou available today so Steve Phillips doing the travel and then cut to a standard pre-recorded weather segment from Elizabeth Austin. Presumably Steve hasn't been trained in reading the weather! Dunno why they bothered to change it in the first place really,waste of time if you ask me.

They might as well have Steve in 5 mornings a week, this way the weather forecast has the presenter infront of the map. (from Tun Wells at least!)

But if they did it would just spark off the argument as to why they needed three people (newsreader,Steve and weather person) when the bulletin could be done by two,or,as some people argue should happen,one.

I've noticed that Mike Ramsdens in the main chair programme more often these days which is good to see I always find he is much more warm and welcoming to the programme unlike the rest of them who seem to be saying it for the sake of it! makes a single headed programme more watchable

The odd thing is that most days they are now only doing the weather up until 4pm, and then briefly the next 4 days. What about that day's weather after 4pm, when most of their morning viewers will be travelling home?
