This site is easily the best one around when it comes to current British presentation. Love the work you do.
A question: Now that you have HD resolution videos from HD channels, is it possible that we will see better resolution videos from SD channels too? Videos from SD channels are currently scaled down to 640x360, and it would be lovely to see them in the glorious 576 pixels vertical resolution they were intended for.

Thank you for your comments, they're appreciated.
Way back in 1999 when I first started capturing presentation, the Real Media clips I posted used to be 188x140 - ie tiny. This was down to constraints of file size based on hosting costs and connection speeds.
Currently, DTT video is captured using a tv card at 576 lines, whilst all satellite video is captured via component output at 1080i regardless of it being SD or HD.
In today's world of fast broadband - for some, though not all - and cheap hosting (I use OVH), it would be easy enough to start posting full resolution videos.
However, at the moment, I feel that I have the balance right between file size and frame size and that the quality of detail on play back is good enough. You'll also note that HD captures are still only 504 pixels high - nowhere near 720p and less than half 1080i.
I believe that the latest SD and HD captures - even at the current frame sizes - provide darned good video when played back full screen. However, you may want to tell me different!
