Wasn't there a reason not so long back, that Eastenders couldn't be shown on BBC One & BBC Three said they couldn't show it due to 'reasons beyond their control' ?

(It was on the other thread ISTR)

If that's the case, I'd be surprised if BBC Three transmit tonight.

As speculated, BBC Three EastEnders now dropped and replaced with a Russell Brand repeat. Wednesday 7:30pm EPG Freeview entry still not updated, though it'll get changed at some point.

The ironic thing is, EastEnders is now listed as the most popular request on the BBC One channel on iPlayer. They're obviously optimistic as all you get when it plays is an ident!

No mention of Holby City by the CA at 9pm? Maybe no one cares.

Different error message on iplayer for Holby City though...

When would Gordon Brown be able to watch River City?

Would I be right in presuming all the continuity links on BBC Three are pre-recorded, and the entire channel runs off a play-out server?

An entirely different announcer from the usual very-happy chirpy female one bridged the 10pm junction between the 60 second news-bite and the Russell Howard schedule change on BBC Three.

Holby is usually broadcast on a Thursday in Scotland, don't know why it was moved to a Monday night.

River City will broadcast in Scotland on Thursday at 8pm according to BBC Information.

They are pre-recorded in advance so then if there's any changes they'll have to get someone to pop in and record an announcement.

Do you mean The Weakest Link? It appears to be on tomorrow, unless you know otherwise?
