T4
I remember a great show called Homemade which ran on T4 for a whole series from 2006-2007 , an audience of nearly 2 million people tuned in each week, making it one of the channel's most popular weekend shows. It was presented by Dave Berry who showcased a selection of viewers' home videos from music samples to reality TV shows, uploaded onto the Internet to be shown on the programme.
A natural on the TV, Mark Boardman featured each week and fronted his very own celebrity chat show speaking with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet to name a few.
Here is a link for more details about the British based show and just why was it so popular http://www.locatetv.com/tv/homemade/43170 . Mark was selected as the star of the show to appear on the famous T4 sofa where he was interviewed by Steve Jones and Miquita Oliver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms8m78FN3bc
Episode 6 saw Dave Berry discover who is at the top of Britain's lip-sync chart, and reveals the unsigned UK female artists all hoping to become The Next Christina Aguilera. Leonardo DiCaprio features in this week's Mark Boardman Show, and there's a collection of the best spoof TV shows made by viewers. Last in series
Jessica Warner also featured on the show though had very little impact. A odd looking boy called Bod took over though he was not a popular choice with his arrogant performance and was voted off after only several shows.
Dj Talent featured in the original show and later went on to the later stages on Britain's for talent.
The show was made in the Uk by princess productions of London and it was reshown due to the success of the original series on E4 with each episode being shown 5 times. Due to the production company being sold no more shows were made though Dave has gone to to present on Xfm and Mark had appearances on BBC Inside out, presenting at the Baftas 2007, an appearance on This Morning and plenty of other Radio, TV and magazine work.
The TV Press included appearances by Dave, Mark & Jessica in the Daily Star, a metro interview http://www.metro.co.uk/showbiz/32685...tvs-dave-berry and several other National radio interviews.
Six shows of pure magic ! Unfortunately because of a buy out the show was not re:made
