I remember a great show called Homemade which ran on T4 for a whole series from 2006-2007 , an audience of nearly 2 million people tuned in each week, making it one of the channel's most popular weekend shows. It was presented by Dave Berry who showcased a selection of viewers' home videos from music samples to reality TV shows, uploaded onto the Internet to be shown on the programme.

A natural on the TV, Mark Boardman featured each week and fronted his very own celebrity chat show speaking with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet to name a few.

Here is a link for more details about the British based show and just why was it so popular http://www.locatetv.com/tv/homemade/43170 . Mark was selected as the star of the show to appear on the famous T4 sofa where he was interviewed by Steve Jones and Miquita Oliver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ms8m78FN3bc

Episode 6 saw Dave Berry discover who is at the top of Britain's lip-sync chart, and reveals the unsigned UK female artists all hoping to become The Next Christina Aguilera. Leonardo DiCaprio features in this week's Mark Boardman Show, and there's a collection of the best spoof TV shows made by viewers. Last in series

Jessica Warner also featured on the show though had very little impact. A odd looking boy called Bod took over though he was not a popular choice with his arrogant performance and was voted off after only several shows.

Dj Talent featured in the original show and later went on to the later stages on Britain's for talent.

The show was made in the Uk by princess productions of London and it was reshown due to the success of the original series on E4 with each episode being shown 5 times. Due to the production company being sold no more shows were made though Dave has gone to to present on Xfm and Mark had appearances on BBC Inside out, presenting at the Baftas 2007, an appearance on This Morning and plenty of other Radio, TV and magazine work.

The TV Press included appearances by Dave, Mark & Jessica in the Daily Star, a metro interview http://www.metro.co.uk/showbiz/32685...tvs-dave-berry and several other National radio interviews.

Six shows of pure magic ! Unfortunately because of a buy out the show was not re:made Sad

Here is more more info I found from wikipedia on one of the stars: There is alot more info on this show as it was made for the You Tube audience, The high audience figures I think were down to the format, the quality of the show and following celebrity Big Brother too. Sadly, the original channel 4 microsite for T4 is no longer active.

More public info on Tv presenter Mark Boardman
Mark Boardman (born 1980) is a celebrity journalist and part time photographer. He is most Notable for his numerous TV appearances as a chat show host on Homemade for T4 alongside his showbiz mate Dave Berry.
He is best friends with Dave Berry having worked on channel 4 together http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Berry_(presenter)Dave, modestly claims the celebrity hunter is really the star of the show and they they are on the same level. http://www.echo-news.co.uk/echofeatu...scribble/Prior to his appearance on Channel 4 ( T4 ) and the big interview with Steve Jones & Miquita Oliver, Mark has appeared on TV programmes including This Morning where he discussed ways to get A-listers on your side and the art of autograph collecting. He started going out of his way to meet celebrities 19 years ago, though he stretched the definition of celebrity somewhat with a snap of Russ Swift - the record holder for parking in narrow spaces, as if you didn't know. But Mark has now become a sage in the art and recently grabbed the autographs of Ewan McGregor - "he's partial to a choc Magnum" - Lenny Henry, who disappointed by being the first celeb to refuse to record a mobile answerphone message for Mark, and pop "star" Lee Ryan - "who I watched on the backstage bouncy castle with Jodie Marsh" at Popbeach. Classy.

I haven't met either of them though I was one of the shows producers / editors and am trying to collate the show's info for Channel 4 as a relaunch of the 4od online.

There is alot more info on this show elsewhere online and yes our team has used the same text on some websites. Dj Talent was recently talking about appearing in the very first show* March 2010, ahead of the new Britains Got Talent series), This Tv show was made for the You Tube audience and we have sold the rights to the US for a 2nd series and we are launching a archive of the best UK bits online.

Because of a buy out the show was not re:made in the UK.

Regards,
Leon
