Don't know if anyone is already aware of this as I would guess that most UK viewers watch CNN International via Sky, cable or Freeview, but the DTH (direct-to-home) satellite transmission in Europe via analogue on Astra (19.2° East) of the channel is ending, as of March 31.

Those pink lights are actually LEDs, so they were probably in test mode when those pictures were taken.

Just In: Christiane Amanpour confirmed as leaving CNN; will anchor This Week on ABC

The official announcement will be in the next hour or two, but I've been told by a colleague at CNN that she's just confirmed it to members of her staff in New York and an email has been to the remainder of the CNN group.
