It looks like it's gonna be even better than their NY set. I wonder what will happen with the old Newsroom set, wish they would let CNNI use it for something.
Anderson's report on Haiti looting is great, nice that he helped that boy.

she is presenting World Business Today, together with Pauline Chiou every morning at 8am (HK time) I think.
ginnyfan, where is Colleen McEdwards these days? Is she still at CNNI or CNN?

IMHO, there wasn't a better World News theme than the one that all future ones were based on, the 1992 one, that had the Salmon Pink and Midnight Blue spinning globe titles.

Salmon pink was a popular CNN colour in the late 80s/early 90s. Headline News used Salmon Pink extensively, as did CNNI and CNN itself. Seems such an odd colour now, but we thought nothing of it at the time.

Not often I say this about CNNi, but they're way ahead of anyone else on their Chilean earthquake coverage. Obviously helps that they have a bureau in Santiago, but they also seem to have some real experts on seismology and tsunamis in their reporting and weather teams, which has helped to clarify some very muddled reports on some other channels (for example some were earlier reporting that the tsunami warning was lifted, when in fact there's still a threat all around the Pacific for the next few hours).

200% ahead of anyone else. CNNI handled things so well, right up until they handed coverage over to Domestic at 7am GMT.

It was rolling with Breaking News, still is. It most certainly wasn't taped. Yes sorry, Noon GMT
