Jamez YOU think you know it all - you had a tour around BBC and HTV a while back now and proclaim to know EVERYTHING this is going on at each station!
You ARE a wannabe and talk some absolute garbage at times! Its people like YOU Jamez that need to retain your belief in regional tv (being a wannabe and all that) becuase if you keep talking about these 'so-called' changes that alledgly are going to happen 'in your infinite wisdom' just because you have visited a couple of tv stations i think you might as well apply for a job in London now!
EXCUSE ME!
Because I've visited a few TV stations, that has nothing to do with it. I just report what I hear on the media grapevine. Some of the information may not be 100% accurate, but I just report what I am told by various people who DO work for the above tv companies.
Even so, I rarely post any gossip anyway. Usually I'm told bits of information in confidence I'm not someone who breaks peoples confidence in me.
My comments that the ITV1 Wales continuity will be moved to London is more or less speculation, but there are HTV people who come on this forum who are obviously in severe denial of the facts and the inevitability that ITV1 Wales is slowly but surely becoming just another generic ITV1 region. It's happened in nearly every other region, so it's far from impossible that the same will happen in Wales too. The HTV name has been all but wiped out, so it's probably a matter of time before Culverhouse cross becomes nothing more than a small insignificant blob in the ITV Network.
Your attacks on me are unjustified - I'm the one with my eyes open, I can see what is happening on my own televisision, as can every other viewer in Wales. It dosen't take a genius to work out that HTV / ITV1 Wales is slowly becoming weaker and weaker as more 'power' is handed over to London by orders of the big parent company, Carlton Television Ltd.
And by the looks of it, yes, I probably will have to go to London to work in broadcasting, as the opportunities for working in television in Wales are becoming increasingly rare.

I don't know what your problem is, although if you are an ITV1 Wales announcer you're bound to be in a bad mood because you and I both know that in 12-18 months from now you'll be looking for another job.
