They were part of a campaign by ITV in the run up to the 1990 Broadcasting Act, there were these TV ads and some wordy press ads. They were essentially trying and make sure that the status quo was maintained and that there weren't too many radical changes.

yea, Barcode, go to Pebble Mill Road with some building equipment and try your best (I'd hate to see the results). Don't worry though, there is still signage, one lest thing to worry about.

That promgrammes CLEARLY say Pebble mill at one finshed in 1986, yet it come back in 1987 as Daytime Live. then got renamed as Pebble mill at one for another 5 years!

*for a year between Daytime Live and Pebble Mill it was called 'Scene Today' as part of the BBC's ill-fated 'Daytime UK' format
