I watched that video in November and didn't see anything about them returning dramas. I noticed they bought the rights to Underbelly. That's out of date now as Autumn's over.

Surely they would get told when the breaks would happen, so someone would be awake in Pres?

Surely an easy way would be cut to an unbranded slide (maybe a pic from the episode?) then STV & UTV have a few seconds to react before ITV 1 continues itself.

Are they using a 'clean feed' for UTV & STV thesedays or opting out of a 'dirty feed' still?

Its Still A dirty feed, and STV has made a formal complaint and also using this as part of its Law case!

Believe me, nobody sleeps in presentation suites.

I didn't see the break you quote, but since it's necessary to put frame accurate timings into the automation system it's possible that the timings were simply wrong - and if this was a break in a live programme, it's not uncommon to catch a few frames of the dirty feed since modern equipment sadly doesn't always respond immediately when you press the 'take' button!!

It's not a dirty feed in the sense you're describing - it's clean. STV are complaining about the ITV branding on end credits, during programmes etc. STV may have accidentally taken the London feed themselves.

The bill anit coming back on thursday any time soon, I still think the paper were over egging it, about how much is coming back.

Piers Morgan on... seems to have been dumped on to a sunday night at 10.15pm

Much better from STV I thought, Football retrospectives are exactly the kind of thing that is affordable and interesting to a contingent of the nation's audience with enough breadth to avoid sinking into the typical "Oh Scotland, look how great we are" pitholes of most attempts last year.

Notice STV screened Above Suspicion this week too; I think the balance will be hit this year and TV in Scotland will be better for it.

I still think there should be doing other ONE off Docs about Scotland, hard hitting ones, and also bring back Scottish action. and Of course Proper game shows.

I think STV are started to go the right way, there could still provide a few more Scottish made shows
