Have ITV got a regional revamp officer or something then going around the country changing the lights to yellow and giving them new title sequences! Why these revamps can't wait until the next available Monday I don't know!

Also not so bad for Wales tonight, but if the bulletins are still branded Wales News it'll be odd if the titles read "ITV News Wales News" at the beginning - though I'm guessing that's the case with other regions. Frankly if they're going to use the ITV News logo they might as well go the full hog and rebrand it ITV News Wales (with other regions rebranded accordingly). At least that way it'll look better on screen, and the ITV News logo can be used on the astons too.

The short bulletins don't have the ITV News and programme title together on screen at the same time. Perhaps that's the reason.

Only the Evening/Late night programmes have it, so it will read ITV News Wales Tonight.

Where the 22.30 bullitin will come from will be interesting.

I don't think ITV News is part of the programme name. I think its just there to associate the programme with ITV News.

For example; Wales Tonight from ITV News.

The studio, I presume. It's not hard to change fabric covers, stick some yellow Polycarbonate to the desk and change the lighting. It would take 4 hours to do.

We've seen them all already from the other regions, but from the GMTV bulletins:-

Hmmm not much of a new look - apart from being yellow everything is the same - the set, most of the pics on the opening titles, the music etc. Its only a minor tweek really.

I watched some of GMTV this morning to see the new look and noticed that Duncan from ITV Wales now appears to be working for GMTV news in London! I thought I hadnt seen him a while on Wales Tonight. They seem to have lost a few presenters in the last few months at ITV Wales.

Well I've got coverage from the look over the day including Wales Tonight, not that it's anything spectacular as we all knew, online at the bottom of - http://www.tvwhirl.co.uk/itvnewsrebrand2009.html

Have they always used this horrible 'virtual wall' effect that can be seen on the evening clip on the Welsh bulletins too? I've only had the region properly a few days, so don't generally watch it, but it looks hideous! Razz

Yeah, they've had that for quite a while now. It wasn't so bad in teal, but it looked terrible tonight.

Was going to tune in tonight and got to the TV just in time - only to find out it's DSO day and I had to retune, so missed the intro to the bulletin anyway.

See the earlier bulletin is branded "ITV News - Wales News" then - stupid!
