Blocker, I still technically don't understand how HD works or even what it means, other than the obvious. But that cap above of Fox News is so crystal clear and sharp, it's almost unreal and bordering on animation if you look at it close enough.

I'm not a fan of most Italian broadcast design (to put it mildly), but I really like the simple, very elegant look used by RAI Due in the late 1980s and early 1990s:

According to an old post by TV Forum member cortomaltese, this look was designed by Mario Sasso, RAI's in-house graphics designer at the time.
