What happens of STV deiced to broadcast them them when ITV repeats them next year/

I guess if STV pay for the repeat licenses, then they can show them?

Would it be cheaper?

They would have to pay for them, hence why STV are showing repeats of dramas that they aren't showing new episodes of.

STV are pleading poverty and asking to be bailed out by the public purse so it can continue to provide local news

Very interesting letters in The Herald this morning from two of the most distinguished people to have ever worked for STV.

I'd love to see a scan of that if anyone can do it. In honesty, you're lucky to have the Evening Express up there - as well as being far better than evening papers anywhere else in Scotland, it also has maverick tendencies like... well, what you've just seen.

I can't see it being replicated in any of the other papers in Scotland in the short term, unless STV do anything nuts and cancel Coronation Street.

It's a proud moment for STV, isn't it... Rolling Eyes

It reminds me of watching Father Ted episodes with a clear RTE-a-like version of something on UK tv, or even a Chewin' The Fat version. Strangely though, and this is very parochial of me, it seems more interesting to me because it's aimed at Scotland.

Bonus points to the presenter though, who at least sounds interested - more than you can say for most of the people on these shows overnight.

Minor point - I take it this isn't an STV in-house production, and that another company is involved?

Also - how do we have players already when it's only been running for a few minutes?

And one other thing - they refer to viewers in Northern Ireland not being allowed to play - aside from the fact STV shouldn't be available over there, why are the different licensing laws in NI?

Answered my own question here - it seems related to Freeview Channel 48 (SuperCasino), which are both run by Netplay UK and share a lot of the graphics.

I'm looking forward to Taggart Roulette - red or black, is it coming back? Laughing

Oh dear, the presenter has just asked what AFC could possibly stand for in someone's nickname. "Could it be some sort of football team". I'm going to predict that that response is going to annoy someone in Grampian-land... Rolling Eyes
