Looks like the /topics beta has been axed, as http://www.bbc.co.uk/topics now redirects to...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/topics/help/faq.shtml
...a section entitled 'Search+'

Nice to see a 4:3 video player in use on that site. Don't think I've seen that anywhere else.

At last Click has had it's website updated to the wide format...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/click_online/default.stm
...considering it's "The BBC's flagship technology programme" I would have thought it might have been using the newer 'technology' sooner.

I still wonder why they have such a long web address. It's not even called Click Online anymore! They advertise it on the programme as bbc.co.uk/click, but it's just a redirect.

well its because, as a news programme, their website is on the News CMS rather than standalone.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight site is now live, with Dorset to follow tomorrow. On their way are Essex, Gloucestershire, Tyne and Wear.

Thanks, Bvsh House. Do you know which language site is next? Is Chinese anytime soon? I'd be interested to see that site in particular using the new branding.
