Apologies if I missed this elsewhere in the thread, but how long has BBC Earth News been going?

This is interesting. On his website David Lowe says he's composed a "new brand identity" for BBC Earth. Wondering what on earth BBC Earth was, I did a search and found www.bbcearth.com - but unfortunately UK residents are redirected to the BBC's own Science and Nature website, while anyone who lives outside the UK gets to see the BBC Earth website.

I know it's a Worldwide thing but isn't this policy a bit, well... strange?

Hmm, I'm not sure about the idea of having two headers (the R1 header and the Zane Lowe one underneath). Looks a bit much. Especially with the second header being so big height-wise.

Not sure how long it's been in the wide format however the Newsnight site has been updated...

...I'm slightly surprised the URL has remained the same and not changed to the format used by Panorama.

The "2" logo is made together with the Newsnight logo in a terrible way...

Is there ever any consistency with BBC's box logos? Somebody actually went to the care of making a new BBC News logo, when there's a perfectly okay one already created!
