Actually it's just World News now , Isha made a mistake when she said YWT is next.
It's good to have Fiounnalla on CNN.
Now looking farward to the premiere of Becky's new show.

Tonight’s the night!

LONDON, England — After months of planning and weeks of rehearsals, here we are. Eight hours from now, Connect the World will go on air.
I know you’ll join us on air tonight, but we wish you could feel the buzz in the newsroom right now: It’s electric; the excitement is very palpable.
As of this writing, we have absolutely no idea what our lead will be. A Connects lead has to have legs that take it around the world. Let’s see what happens.
Back to work, and monitoring the news wires — join us for the launch, we promise it’ll be exciting, unique, and entertaining. Stay connected!
Fionualla also did the headlines in Quest Means Business
Watched the IDesk for the first time tonight, being a Freeview viewer, it was OK, but nothing special, and nothing I would make an effort to watch again. As a side note, it was very London orientated tonight, with 4 reports (or live link ups with reporters) being from London.
As for Connect the World, TOTH is Hala in Atlanta with the news headlines for a minute or so before going to Connect the World. No more Wall Street Wrap with the business presenter in New York. Connect the World seems to be more analysis/in depth reporting rather than a normal news bulletin. Also seems a bit gimicy with the word 'connect' being used a lot, too much in my opinion. Virtual studio looks OK. Overall a bit underwhelmed
21.30 (BST) headlines also back with Hala in Atlanta
One weird thing on Connect the World was the use of an ITV report from John Irvine in Colorado. Im surprised a CNN report wasn't used considering it was from the US. Does that often happen?
IDesk tonight was once again hijacked by an Obama speech. Sick of them all the time on CNN. They usually have a sport anchor with Hala in the end.
Connect the World would be ok if it had someone else hosting cause Becky is totally underused here. She just announces the reports, she doesn't look like her usual self. She's the best when anchoring proper news and doing interviews, hope they have some interviews in the future.
I didn't know that. CNN usually shows every speech whenever it is and it usually happens at around 6 when IDesk is. I hoped Hala would be safe in the new slot but I was wrong.
CTW looked too scripted and like some weekend program they would do. I hope we see more of Becky discussing and interviewing people, I'm sure we will cause this was just the first show.
I really like the way CNN adopted Twitter and made it a part of their program. Most of the anchors are Twittering and getting in touch with viewers, weather people too and they get Twits about the weather in certain parts of the world and read it on air, sometimes they have a photo too.
Also they use Twitter instead of the email for viewers comments. It's really great.
Are other news channels doing the same?
