Is it just me or can anyone else "see through" Marc's shirt?

(Not in that way... oh, forget it.)

Laughing I see what you mean, you can see red through it at the top left.

Few changes on tonight's programme, the fonts on the headline sequence and the plasmas has been changed to match the one used on the name straps and Logie's podium is no more!

They've changed the music on the UTV weather stings again - sounds like Brian Kennedy, a more upbeat track. It sounds out-of-place compared to the acoustic stuff from down the years.

All they need to do know is change the presenter... Wink

Looks nice, but probably a few too many UTV logos around the set. In particular, the 3 on the desk seem to be overkill. Infinitely better than what it replaced though!

The aston font looks like it was taken from a circa-1999 free font website, but the new look is otherwise great.

Quick question: does anyone know whose voice was on the UTV weather forecasts today?

Spotted a problem with graphics on today's UTV Live bulletin - a "Breaking News" DOG appeared, but the "Breaking News" text disappeared after a second, and the DOG didn't disappear until the first name Aston appeared.

Also spotted Aidan using paper instead of "game show" cards, it looked more awkward.

Looks like UTV don't have web rights for FAI matches, explains the edits to the web version of the stream.

This week, "Crime Brief" came from the desk area, and only now has the penny dropped that the same font on Astons and captions on this feature are the same as what UTV Live are now using... and did Aidan say "weather worecast" at the end of the bulletin?!?

Is Clarky off from UTV Live presenting duties this week? Lynda Bryans did the show on her own tonight, and it flowed a lot better I think. Some good camera angles too, but no sports presenter at the desk at the end of the show.

Marc did the weather and the lunchtime news, it could have been an opportunity to give him a shot on Live at Six. Or if Mr Clark can't present the main show for whatever reason, will UTV Live just be a one-hander or two-hander with Lynda/Tina/Alison for now?

And is it just me, or has the red table top under the glass got less brighter? And please stop the People's Millions trail, we've all seen it now, thank you.

I was thinking the exact same thing about the People's Millions trail. We used to only see it once a day Monday to Friday on UTV Life, now we see it three times a day and at the weekend!! Enough is enough!

Was nice to see a single headed UTV Live for a change, although not sure if it was just because it was Easter Tuesday or whether Paul will be off for the rest of the week. We can only live in hope!

As seen on the lunchtime UTV Live bulletin (presented by Clark, sadly):

Susie Millar wasn't mentioned during the short report on the Titanic commemoration, suppose we'll have to wait for this evening to see if she gets a brief mention. Or maybe she was covering the event for Newsline Wink

According to Radio Times, UTV Live Tonight will be starting on Monday 20th April.

The listing for Monday 20th has been changed and UTV Live Tonight is now starting on Monday 27th April instead. Wonder if it will have different titles from the rest?

Susie Millar is the great grand-daughter of one of the Titanic's assistant deck engineers, Tommy Millar, who died on the ship's maiden voyage. She was the first person to get married on the Nomadic recently (I believe).
