Interesting that Eileen jokingly resumed by saying "Take two." Very often on RTÉ News technical blunders either go unnoticed or result in anchors getting embarrassed - whereas this actually was a nice way of acknowledging it.
An error at the end too, however, where the camera was meant to physically move to the right while it panned to the left (keeping the desk roughly in the centre of the screen). Basically, it didn't move, but still panned - so we were treated to a view of the edge of the set and an autocue.

The Nine O'Clock News started with no sound tonight. After c. one minute, Presentation cut to a holding slide; the announcer apologised for the fault. We then had a rundown of Saturday evening's line-up before returning to the programme, from the top.
