The pointlessness of UTV's weekend news service was in evidence this lunchtime - from 'Good afternoon' to 'Goodbye' consisted of cursory coverage of two stories and a grand total of 48 SECONDS.

Was it 48 minutes including reports or just 48 seconds full stop??
I wonder how much time in that junction went over to showing boring trails etc. that could have been spent on the news bulletin. Or maybe they were short on journalists in the newsroom on the early shift. Or maybe they are really winding down, regardless of the outcome of OFCOM's findings.
