I take that when the 24 'Let's batter NY1 over the head' Hour news channel starts up the '4' branding will be dropped from the WNBC news broadcasts? If you go on the website, there is no reference to channel 4 on there, just 'WNBC NEW YORK'.

On the relaunch - nice set, nice music and very nice clean astons - pity the reporter name and reporting location isn't lined up under one another, but hey-ho.
By the way, I remember reading ages ago the WNBC have used the same studio 6B(?) in the Rock since the start of local news broadcasts to the tri-state area, so is this the first time local news has come from of different studio/newsroom area?

All NBC owned stations have "NBC City Name" for their websites. "NBC 4 New York" is here to stay.

Huge improvement - much fresher, cleaner, and much more businesslike and a lot less flashy.
