Just bring back the old idents and mix it with the new ones say I!

Exactley that is what they should do however I would still like to see the back of idents like sunroof and zetope(whatever it is).

I think it would blend in quite well but some idents from 1991 will look dated but not all Wink I would like to see some of the 1997 ones aswell. Wink

Whilst I like some of these window ones the theam itself cant stand on its own and I think other idents away from the window theam are needed to back the decent ones up and scrap the crap ones.If they keep going with the sole window line BBC2 branding will die. Rolling Eyes
Some of those 1991 idents are timeless. Paint and Silk are simple and yet still impressive. The window ones are okay but tagging, sunroof, cappucino are just cheap and need to be ditched.

I don't think they should ditch any, especially as there aren't a lot to begin with. I actually quite like Cappucino Smile

I actually like the music on Cappucino but it is a bit boring. It's a shame we have had no proper additions to the set, that Heroes one doesn't count and is like an inferior copy of this one they did for their Mars weekend.

The good thing about Cappucino is that it does form a proper 'solid' 2, with the cocoa on the coffee, rather than the 2 just being a hole as with the others.

I know the tagging idents do this as well, but they don't count as they're rubbish. Wink

does anybody think that BBC Two should get rid of BBC Learning Zone?
I don't think so! I've always liked it!
they have cut it down so much since 2004 and it's only on for 2 hours now!
The hours it used to have are occupied by ever BBC News or Closedown!

I don't think people revising for A levels and GCSEs would agree. Wink

Nothing better that 1990's 4:3 A Level English Language Techniques at 4 in the morning! Surprised

Having done this, it bares no resemblance to the current courses. A drastic update of TV material is needed to keep up with this ever changing curriculum.

How odd that they don't end the trailer with a '2' endboard.

Oops - Duncan just linked into the BBC News simulcast, saying the Learning Zone is at 2 -- not these days it isn't; it starts at 4am.

Could it have been a recorded announcement?
