That's not too bad compared to the other tagging ones. I'm still not a big fan of this tagging branding as it seems a fairly weak concept and they aren't really that well produced (although the jerky camerawork in football is probably used for effect).
I wonder when the next regular ident will be launched as we haven't had any full time, non special themed additions since the current set.

Well precisely - its supposed to look like some user-generated escapades shot through a mini DV cam.
Genuine user-generated content is dreadful enough without watching broadcast professionals "simulate" it. Broadcasters should raise standards of film making, not stoop to the newest common denominator.
Give me expensive looking and well shot idents any day - even if that means listening to the uninformed moan about costs.
As many have said, the 'Window on the World' concept had potential but some of the regular and special idents are lacking in quality and imagination.
Some idents, such as Zoetrope and Mirror, look as though a lot of thought was put into their design and production. I do not think it is a coincidence that these two idents contain lots of detail and have not tired yet, imo.
However, some look as though they were churned out in an afternoon; Tent and Sunroof for example. Yes, you would expect an opening sunroof to reveal a lovely blue sky, but this is BBC Two, the idents are supposed to surprise and intrigue viewers. These two are too predictable and have tired very quickly.
Then there are the special idents. Again, some obviously had high production values. Heroes, Thursdays, Christmas and Electric Proms were excellently produced. But some look as though a bright spark came up with an idea then forgot to add a bit more creative flair.
The latest 'Back to Nature' idents are case in point. You would expect the 2 to interact with its surroundings, have the river crashing through it, branches dropping down to reveal it, etc etc. Simply panning out to reveal it is unimaginative, predictable and boring.
It is a shame that it's likely the true potential of this concept won't be utilised and BBC Two will happily trundle along until their time is up.
I am not a big fan of thr window line at all. However theres something about origional mirror which I like and its my favorite ident of the pack by far. I dont know why-I think its the only ident of the pack which has some origionality.
When does
Mock the Week
return? Indeed, was it commissioned? I hope it will be back in the Thursday 10pm after
The Graham Norton Show
finishes if it is coming back! Normally around that time in previous series, apart from last year when they had a longer episode run at the earlier time of 9pm. I miss it dearly!

Why is it taking so long for new idents to come along? If anything the endboards have been more creative lately. I think they should be looking at different graphic design companies to come up with some new idents not just Red Bee. BBC2 used to be famous for its creative idents and now it's just a shadow of its former self.
