Meridian Tonight SE are going all out with the graphics and wide-studio shots for the Tonbridge Robbery special.

Indeedy. Ian from Tonbridge and Helen in the studio (albeit the opening shot featured her CSO behind a 'lets make the studio look bigger by adding some fake walls either side' picture.)

SET have also gone to town - Geoff from Tonbridge with special titles, graphics and someone's given them a crane to do a high opening shot.

Generally excellent programmes from both from what I've managed to catch.

I'm pleased we didn't have to put up with "Flhhhh" Sangeeta tonight. Helen is far better IMO.

Helen is ok but a bit stern really. I quite like Sangeeta, seem to be the only one on here who does don't I ?!

I get fed up with all this "poor Sangeeta" business. She dressed up in a wedding dress tonight - fair enough it was to highlight the Leap Year proposal day but still.

The RTS winning reporting team are the only thing that make this show.

Thames Valley Tonight wont RTS South Regional Programme of the Year award...How? These awards are meaningless these days in my opinion.

Worse still... how the lady luck did Thames Valley Tonight win it!?

Apparantly for their coverage of the summer floods in Oxfordshire and to give them some credit they did do a good job on them - alot of live OB bulletins with Wesley were very good plus TVT with Wesley and Hannah on location just like the Central South days and it helped with Mary being away I feel.
