I hated the set too but now I'm used to it, although I still hope they'll change them soon.
Becky sometines uses the stool, I don't know why, they give them to their guests and sport anchors too.
BTW it looks like their sport anchors now have to wear ties.

I really hate their new set. The graphics are an absolute triumph, but it's all ruined by the channel appearing to come from a conservatory/UPVC windows showroom.

New? are you slow or something? Its as old as october 2006

Is it? Don't think it was there when they launched the new graphics, and that's the last time I watched to be honest. Doesn't seem that long ago!

Paula Newton was on CNN Today this morning with Max.
Also Malika Kapur has been excelent with Adrian last few Fridays.
I wish they would do more anchoring so we could see less of Sasha Herriman. Twisted Evil

Here are a few interesting camera shots from CNN Today this morning.
I think the London set looks good in these, I hope they use them more often.

I agree, those are good shots. The desk looks much smaller in them than it appears on screen.

Hong Kong's Andrew Steven is in Atlanta this week anchoring YWT. Wonder where Michael Holmes and Stephen Frazier are. Haven't seen them for quite some time.

Michael is in Iraq. He goes there for a couple of weeks every year.

Stephen is in Atlanta as ever.

Damo, either you're a very early riser or a very late sleeper!!!! Have you just gotten in from the clubs??

In amongst your vast array of clips and collections, do you have any captures of the late 90's era CNN, where the London based morning programme (Business.......something) was presented by Juanita Philips and Bettina Luescher? I can never remember the name of that programme, but it was the distant forerunner to CNN Today! I think this was also the launchpad for Richard Quest's CNN career - after he left BBC World, I believe he joined the CNN morning programme.

Thanks,
James

James, you might want to check out the CNN section of InformativosTV: click here. The downloads are a bit hit and miss because the links are only live at certain times of the day. However, the CNN section looks pretty thorough and a lot of the clips are from the late 1990s. On one of the pages, I found images of the two presenters you mention. Hope that helps.
