YouTube seem to be naming and shaming the copyright holders now. It used to just say 'This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party', now it says (for example) 'This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Formula One Management'

Yes, I noticed that as well... I was trying to watch an ITV ident and it came up "This video has been removed because of a copyright claim by ITV Network Limited". Annoying.

I had my whole page pulled because of an infringement against Fox. Ironically I had only a couple of minutes worth of their material and a couple of hours of another producer's material which hadn't caused a problem for the six months or so it had been there.

Had nearly 300 subscribers too, which was a bummer to lose.

Shame? No, I'd suspect vanity as anyone knowing what they're uploading is fairly certain of the rights holders, this is just so it's like some will go "Wow, they came after this!" as some third party could be anyone. For me though the sentiment "Those farks, don't they get the internet?!" ain't too far away.
