Love the heading...

SADDAM'S REGIME HAS CRUMBLES

I hope those marines watch it - an apple pie in the face could be disastrous.

I'm sure everyone will agree the news channels have produced results - some astonishing pictures coming out of Baghdad, quite spectacular.

Truely fantastic stuff. Sky News's coverage was far superior - David Chater was absolutely brilliant with his live walkabout and reaction to the falling of the statue.

Was he live when it actualy fell?

I thought some of him walking around was good, but some of it was pretty pointless really - just asking troops for their name and saying hello was a little desperate I thought although I'm sure the famillies of said troops were very happy to see them.

I thought the BBC did well, Rageh did well on the phone and you got a realy sense of teh atmosphere when the statue fell which I don't thinkcame across on Sky, although I was only flicking to it now and again. Everytime I flicked on ITVNC they seemed to be talking about the strength of the rope even when it was clear that they were now using a cable.
