anyone able to tell me what font is used on this t-shirt...

The font is Gill Sans by Eric Gill. Microsoft's version ( Gill Sans MT ) is included in Windows, the original version in Mac OSX and there's probably a similar font for Linux.

The version in the web banner looks like it's a light version, or one that's had its weight altered manually.

If you're using a Microsoft software package listed here, chances are it's automatically been installed on your machine.
