It's needed looking at for a month or so, some of the remote advert servers have seemed not to be synching with theirs effectively causing extended page loading times.

I really hope they will drop the annoying flash advert otherwise I will decide to block them. I wouldn't mind them if they didn't keep crashing Firefox or mess with my music. Edit: It would seem Digital Spy is back up - tvf6rum is making up stuff again by saying it would be web2.0! Surprised

Whats web 2.0?

its something to do with them running out of IP address ( blame the big company's for that!

also I hear EMail will have it own network to help free up the main network

You're are talking a load of bull!

Obviously some confusion then, the running out of IP addresses issue is what IPv6 is meant to sort out.

In this case, the 'tutor at college' are wrong. Web 2.0 is an unofficial term to describe web services that embed interactive video, audio or other multimedia content, and will also incorporate their users' content on demand. In other words, it can be described as 'the web - but slower, and with lots of rowdy adolescents' f***ing swearing and txt spk!'

So basically what's happenning is that Digital Spew will have a jazzed-up homepage with a loud video that won't stop because you're machine's too slow even if you bought it yesterday, and navigation will be relegated to a slow Flash menu.

Or that's probably how it's going to happen.
