Just me seeing an inherent problem in having programming information being semi-transparent? Especially given it's audience, that's just foolhardy. Also, I think the URL is too small, up it by a point or two.

I also think that the logos itv1, itv 2, etc. should be made bigger

I agree with Nini on the ITV3 mocks, what is the point in making a promo with the infomation so tiny and transparent? They need to be readable on screen.

I understand what's been said about the transparency BUT I have tried above on both mid and dark backgrounds and they are still readable. On a lighter background it is still visible, there are subtle shadows and outlines on the text so it is readable. I wouldn't call this an 'inherent' problem at all. It may need some tweaks but I think the concept can work.

Obviously they would be tweaked further, and things like the size of the font for the URL are valid points.

To complete the family of channels, ITV4!

The trailers maintain the 'cutting edge' theme with the logo with the white strap containing the programme info. From here I'm going to work on ITV News ideas.

Comments & views on any of the mocks so far would be very much appreciated! Cheers.

ITV4 seems too different. ITV2 logo looks like an award or a mannequin. Would be cool if you could play with that.

Not sure if it's partly because of the background image, but I think the ITV4 logo looks too cartoony with the thick black outline on the trailer endboard.

So it's been run through the mill and appeared OK for you? Why not for two other people? It's inherent seeing as you might be able to see them on your monitor but most likely would be hard pushed to see them on your TV. They are the most vital parts of the trail and therefore should be highly visible. The light background tweaks might not be enough given how hard it is on a fairly dark background. Keep thinking it through, right now two people object and it should be enough to push something to help legibility through. As for the ITV4 trail endboards, use another image because it's skewing what I'm supposed to think about the channel's identity too and that Crank Yankers isn't something they show much of anymore.
