Ooh look, the BBC2 website has changed its box to the new 'deep aqua' colour. It looks a bit dodgy against the clouds background but the website is relaunching soon anyway (28th Feb?)

So the last association with that lurid purple box has finally been banished to history Very Happy

It's still here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/ and here: www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice and here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/

There are probably other mini BBC2 programme sites with it on too.

No - /tv/ has the new-style box.

I presume the TG site will change it in the next week or so at their next update, but the Apprentice probably won't bother, since it's off-air right now and when it's back it'll be on BBC1.

Yes, I just realised I had spoke too soon when I checked out the Dragon's Den mini-site (D'oh!)
But if you Ctrl+F5 on the bbc.co.uk/tv page you get the new box Wink
At least the main site has been sorted out as it keeps the look consistent.

It's probably because the site isn't relaunching all at once and is instead being phased in (as suggested by Auntie's press release).

So far I've seen two versions of Chase:

Chase A - man climbs up onto deck through the 2, while the secret police/army/religious sect pursue him beneath.

Chase B - man runs through stone wall with 2-shaped gap, and the pursuer's dog follows him through.

A third variant was mentioned - what was this like and has anyone got caps?

Mirror seems to be the pick of the bunch continuity wise, that's 4 times I've seen it today! Thank goodness its my favourite of the new set.

If I remember rightly, the third variant of "Chase" shows the man jumping down into the "2" which has now become a 'hole' in the ground. The men and dogs chasing the man run past and then the man climbs out from his hiding place. It was shown yesterday but I cannot remember the time.

It was shown last night at 11:20pm, ahead of Ideal, and pretty much qualified as an extended play.

And the BBC2 box looked terribly thin, dont you think? It was barely more than a slanted smudge. The idents looked good on the screen though.
