Actually, I have thought carefully about the other vamp and have now decided to upload an alternative version, different in many ways but almost has an evil feel to it. I think it would be more appropiate to use like now in times of war. See what you think Laughing

They are all quite good! Although the sting is a bit to abrupt. I do agree that the second bed goes better with the titles!! Well Done!

I like some of those mocks, they are really good.Specially the sting. What kind of software did you use to edit those sounds?

Does the BBC really play such depressing music! Brilliant mocks, but like I said - perhaps too depressing for TV.

The special titles have and are currently being used on BBC World, but I've never actually heard the sombre ones on air. There's never any chance of hearing special music on News 24, as every opportunity they get to use them, they always choose not to. Now would have been an ideal time to use the N24 special titles, but instead they nick World's!

The audio mocks below are incredibly simple though not 'depressing'. I don't think the BBC would use them in the daytime war coverage but perhaps at Breakfast? See what you think.

I prefer the sting without thunderclaps. What kind of software did you use?

Something Called Audio Edit Delux, though I prefer the trial version of Acoustica, just search for it at Google.com

"what do I use"

Cool Edit Pro , I use it a lot as I'm doing a National Diploma in Media and Audio production, I'll have a go at some more now.

Jamez Special Word mix would be good if the TWT Vamp was mixed in starting at about 11secs in. Would sound cool, cause when I listen to it I sort of expect to hear it but then it never plays lol.
