yep it's from ITN via PA. Earlier there were unconfirmed reports via Russia that 3 British journalists have been killed.

British TV reporter Terry Lloyd and his colleagues Fred Nerac and Hussein Othman are missing after they came under fire while travelling to Basra in Iraq, ITN said today. end

All sounds like just a bit of 'talking up' going on - he may be the first to a certain place. Also I had a feeling that Philip Reay Smith is a pool reporter anyway.

Philip Reay Smith's pool reports have been on Sky News, as have Bill Nealys.

CBS and FOX are using David Chater, Ive normally seen FOX just relaying Sky News two-way interviews with him but CBS's Dan Rather has had 2 ways with him. After his report today, I certainly dont think Iraq will kick him out and i certainly dont think this report will be on FOX. Basically it showed alot of footage from the hospitals including new born babies whos incubater power supplies (or something like that) have been damaged and an interview with Iraqs health minister. He obviously couldn't and didn't say that these people in hospital might not have been injured in the bombing or that it could be Iraqi propaganda.

Im told that "Aaj Tak!" Hindi news channel in India are showing Sky News as are STAR.

Suspect that Chater/Sky will be OK then. I don't think that the Iraqi authorities have major problems with ABC, CBS or NBC at the moment, so a Sky reporter two-wayed on CBS would be OK.

AIUI ABC, CBS and NBC all pulled out their staff from Baghdad for safety reasons, rather than being expelled as CNN, and before that, FOX have been.

Has anyone got a screen crab of Terry Lloyd. I can't recall his face off the top of my head. Very sad news indeed.
