Indeed they are, but the newsroom is not right there. They would have walked into the window of the studio if that was right.

Who says the studio is at ground level?
The moving camera shots and reflections on the window would tend to suggest that it's not keyed.

its just a mobile studio, they used it during the golden jubilee, sky had one as well...

It is an outdoor studio, if you saw one of Mark Mardell's reports yesterday, you will have seen the framework of it being constructed when he was doing an interview.

yeah thats right, he referred to it too. I don't think its at ground level, it was used for the coverage of the debate on BBC One and Two this afternoon. The camera was a bit shaky them so maybe the structure isn't that secure.

The backdrop is not keyed in, it is perspecs you can see Georges reflection in the perspects. The BBC Have set up a tempoary studio outside westminister, but only tempoary.

If not, why did the weather seem to be done from the network news studio rather than the Weather Centre (or whatever it's called)?
