I really did enjoy the titles of yesturdays new look F1. They are visually stunning, and well created. I do miss the old theme tune, but I do like the choice of music.
I'm not sure that I like the featuring of Button and Coulthard, but other than that, I couldn't fault them.
It was also nice to see that their F1 logo, is slanted in the same way that the official logo is. Is there something that stops them using the official logo within titles and content?
I suppose that the ITV F1 Sport clothing and mic covers would have to be thrown anyway with the new logo coming in.
The astons are quite nice, much better than the squares ones, though the integration of the ITV Sport logo is once again quite poor. Why can't any of them have the logo without it being on a black background, the white logo would look lovely, especially with a light glow over it.
And finally Steve seemed to slip in quite nicely into the role, I will miss Jim on F1, but Steve will do it justice in my opinion.

No you are correct - This is the 4th theme in 9 seasons coverage.

Was the last theme tune really "you aint seen nothing yet"?
Just to recap the themes have been:
Jamiriquai - (name unknown)
Apollo440 - Blackbeat
the last one
Moby - Lift me up
Is there one I've missed out?

I dont think "you aint seen nothin yet" was the actual version used but if you listen to it, it is almost identical.

I noticed during ITV's coverage of the Malaysian Grand Prix at the weekend, Louise Goodman and Ted Kravitz were wearing pit lane overalls still sporting the old ITV logo and the old F1 logo. Obviuosly, ITv haven't forked out any cash to buy them some new pit lane fire costumes for this year!
I wonder how long they will continue to use their old outfits?

Same happened with ITV News and, for a short while, Sky News as well.

It just shows that the companies never think of how much is branded when they go ahead and change the brand.
