Not sure about the Breaking News, I expected black on yellow for the whole aston. Perhaps the subject comes up first., large type black on yellow, and then shrinks back when the details are added, white on black.

I'm all in favour of the straps being as unobtrusive as possible, but these do definately look more like digital subtitles. It'll be interesting to see whether they animate on screen.

I just really hope that the newsbar doesn't spin to much a spin every two seconds would be awfuil maybe it will just spin between sections bizbar-sportsbar etc.

Watching the rugby at the weekend, I noticed that BBC Sport already use a 'flicker' (as opposed to a ticker like most news channels). It's used to show footy scores and appears at the bottom right of the screen. It's very unobtrusive and works well. Hopefully CNN's version will be similar.

Yeah...they've only been using that for about oh two years..... Rolling Eyes

Personally I can't stand the way it flips round and round about the X axis...howabout a nice tasteful wipe instead?

Is it me - or do they have a slightly similar feel to the old ITV News Channel graphics?

As to the delay - I had heard rumours of painful rehearsals...

A wipe - how original! Rolling Eyes No, I like the 'flicker' - it looks far neater.

Eh!? 8+10=18, 18 is 6pm, not 11pm.
