BBC Mock from a newbie

Hi...i'm new at TV Forum but i've had a good long time of experience. Please tell me what you think of this http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=1/2611411880.jpg&s=x4

I myself am quite pleased with it - as you can see channels 1 to 4 keep their original identification colours, but everything else has been shifted about a bit. Even a few names! For example, the new logo wouldn't be ideal to cover a CBEEBIES logo, so instead i've creatively (NOT) come up with BBC Tots (you think that's bad? I almost put BBC baby!) and BBC Parliament has been given a rather catchy rhyming title of BBCP!

(I apologise for the misspelling lines underneath the website logo (.co.uk) and the xtra on Radio 1 Xtra.)

So gimme your comments! This is my first! And please tell me if I should continue (like do ident stills, promo endboards, credits sideborards and all the rest of it!)

That logo isn't exactly good, but I've seen worse (I'll comment more later)

Try allowing more than 6 minutes before bumping the topic, people tend to reply eventually.

From looking at the image I think the idea is there, however I'm not too sure about it. Prehaps seeing one of the bbc logos in context might help.

Aargh, and there's that bloody Sky font again.

OK, so the sky font wasn't great i know but oh well!

The logos are all right, except the CBBC one. I've said it before, but I think that children's presentation should be seperate from the rest.
However, the logos are nice and simple, and I could see these working on screen.
EDIT: Just looked again, and I've seen the BBC Tots logo - I presume that's for CBeebies...

I know my BBC2 mock was pretty dung. But I dont like these... Far too "rubbish Sky TV that nobody ever watches" look.

I shrug with dismay, I could have made better in Word in 5 mins and evidentially yours is little more than a screencap also.

Tell you what, don't consider using that font and the idea... hmm, the idea's been done, not too long ago and didn't recieve much praise then either.

Oh dear, I doubt the MPs would be happy with the idea of 'BBCP'! Sorry, not for me.
